Sir Brannoc O’Feather – The Highland Sentinel

Born among the misty hills of the Ferdice clans, Brannoc was once a simple herdsman, guiding his flock across the moors. Yet destiny marked him the night the heavens blazed with fire. Across the dark highland sky, a strange and wondrous omen appeared — a giant flaming carrot, streaking across the firmament. The elders whispered it was the sign of the Great Root, an ancient prophecy that foretold of a guardian who would rise when the highlands were threatened.

Brannoc took it not as fear, but as purpose. With his claymore and his knot-etched shield, he swore an oath beneath the standing stones: to defend his clan, his highland home, and the traditions rooted deep as the hills themselves. When raiders came, Brannoc held the pass alone until his kin could rally; when famine struck, he led expeditions to the hidden valleys where food still grew.

Knighted upon the field for his courage, he became Sir Brannoc O’Feather, the Highland Sentinel. To this day, he carries the omen of the Carrot in the Sky as his guiding symbol — a reminder that even the strangest signs can herald the greatest of heroes.
